Went to the Pavilion

I was at Pavilion in Bukit Bintang 2 days ago and SKII was having a promotion on the ground floor with big booths set up and many counters to accept and advise clients for their products. In fact I was given a free key chain and was prepared to buy the whitening serum to remove freckles at $760 when I was told that it was out of stock. Being gracious, the salesgirl gave me a bouquet of flowers meant for clients and I was delighted. I gave the bouquet to mum who will be flying by Air Asia to Singapore for 6 days starting on Thursday and returning on Wednesday. It was the first time I visited Pavilion, having heard about it online with good reviews. Well, it is a bigger version of Gurney Plaza with the top floor and basement floor occupied by restaurants. I had dinner at Dragon-I beside the exit and ordered abalone set for $120. We went to Pavilion by GPS using Waze on my I-Phone 6. I have my old I-phone 5 to my second sister in Southampton.

Blogging is Fun

Blogging is fun and you have the world reading your posts at the tap of your fingertips on the keyboard. I will blog only when I have the time and be in the mood to update my blogs. Some of them may need long overdue updates, but I am not bothered about it as I only work in my own time and pace. In the past, I took up free typing lessons, and that is why I am able to type efficiently using ten fingers without figuring out which alphabet is on which key. It becomes automatic as I am familiar with the layout of the keyboard and can type without looking for the letters. Now there is less opportunity for sponsored posts since I have changed the URL of all my blogs for some form of privacy. I earn enough to last me a lifetime and do not need to participate in sponsored posts where your life is made public in some form or another.

However, should there be opportunities for sponsored posts, then I don't mind taking up such chances and blog about them. I don't depend solely on blogging revenue as I have a full time job to work in a home office with frequent travels to KL and other parts of Malaysia.

Blogging Marathon

I have just posted to 5 blogs earlier and now blogging for this site. I am in a blogging marathon mode and need to update my several blogs that have been left unattended to for a few weeks. Other than my personal domain blogs that I maintain weekly, the rest are posted at least once a month. Blogging takes much effort, thinking on the spot and typing. Now my computer room is very bright after changing the lights to 3 twirling bulbs that saves electricity but are more expensive at $12 each. The eco light will last longer than the previous one which keeps getting spoilt every few months! All in all, I had to pay $260 for the light fixtures including repairing another one in the living room. Cleaning 2 fans are complimentary since the electrician already brought the ladder out and conveniently, I asked him to clean the dusty fan as well.

July my birthday month

July is my birthday month. I shall be treating the family to a Chinese restaurant at CRC for a 5 course meal for $240 excluding drinks, peanuts, towels, GST and service charge. Total, it might set me back by around $300 for 5 persons. After my birthday treat next week, I shall go for a cruise with my partner for 2 days 1 night on SuperStar Libra to the high seas. It is the same cruise ship that travels to Phuket and Krabi that departs on Sundays. My cruise is just a short one, just to enjoy the night breeze as the ship sets sail along. I have already online checked in the room, 7 days prior to departure at around 5:30pm and last call at 10:30pm. This shall be my third cruise with the first one in Singapore by paid TNT for a company dinner. There were lots of activities and it was fun. There will be shows on board the cruise with buffet dinner served to patrons.

Time to Update the Company Website

The last update to the company website was in November last year and now it is time to add more pictures of reference projects after 8 months of no updates. The website has over 600 pages and is indexed in major search engines like Google. Clients can find us easily because of certain keywords added in place. We are a well known sports company in Malaysia and do business with clubs, schools and contractors. There are constant projects all this while, year after year, month after month. I just need the extra 'oomph' to get started and working again in this tedious work of dozens of pages to be appended.

Had a Good Weekend

Last weekend, I spent my time at a mountain resort in Genting Highlands but unfortunately, had my iPhone 5 pick pocketed at the escalator of First World Hotel. I was an easy target because my bag was open and unbuttoned. Otherwise, the trip would have been an enjoyable holiday. Anyway, I had my iPhone 5 replaced with a new one of iPhone 6, which was bought yesterday at Gurney Plaza. We went to First Avenue to check the price first before heading to Gurney Plaza to make the purchase at a Digi stall. The water them park, Big Shot, carousel, etc were removed and in place was new construction of probably another indoor theme park or a hotel that will be linked to First World Hotel, with 6,000 rooms - supposedly the biggest hotel in the world based on the number of rooms.

Inbox Dollar Earnings

I always love whenever there is an opportunity to make some moolah. Introducing Cash Tasks, the latest way to earn cash rewards from InboxDollars. Everyday InboxDollars will list a collection of available tasks that can be completed for cash. These tasks range from identifying the content of a photograph, to translating phrases, to completing descriptions for products or services. Each task is presented with the number of opportunities to complete it and the earnings a member will be credited for completing the task.

To earn the cash reward, the member must complete the task requirements and accomplish the entire task properly without submitting nonsensical answers or gibberish. Members will be notified they have completed the task once they have completed all the requirements for that task. A member's account will be credited the same day the task was completed.

You can now check out by clicking on the banners above to find out more information. There are umpteen ways to make money from the internet and milk the cash cow. With the internet, you cannot go wrong and every task is valid and an opportunity for some money - be it an allowance for your kids, to pay bills and put food on the table.

The best part - every InboxDollars member is eligible for every task. As long as a task is listed on the Cash Tasks page it is possible to complete it and earn cash rewards. Note that some tasks have multiple activities, each of which can be completed for cash and there is no limit on the number of tasks or activities a member may complete. Once an InboxDollars member completes a task or activity and earns the cash reward, the task or activity is removed from the list of available tasks.

Members can see their cash earnings for completing Cash Tasks by visiting the InboxDollars Current Earnings page. Look for a summary of total completed tasks and total cash earnings for those tasks.

Joined a Programme

Yesterday, I was enthralled watching a video on making money online and after the end of it, decided to invest USD300 into the binary options website. The video, however, makes it look so simple and the money grows very fast. On my experience with the system, however, it was not so. First of all you have to scan your credit cards and blank out the first 12 digits (credit cards have 16 digits) leaving the last 4 digits visible. Then you have to fill in a form and sign with your own signature, scan the copy and email to them. You also have to scan a copy of your latest 3 months utility bills to show your current address and name on it. I had to scan both front and back copies of my credit card with the statements emailed together. After some corrections, then my account was approved today.

Hope to change to facing East

I bought my condo in 2013 for about $900k and now it is worth $1.3M. But after discount, it is $1.1M. I hope to change my West facing block to East facing block overlooking the sea, and maybe the future cable car between Penang and the mainland. Somehow, east block is more popular and almost occupied compared to west facing block. I can seek the swimming pool but was advised by my partner to go for east facing units. He does not mind footing the bill for the legal change and all the paper work. So, yesterday, I called up my lawyer and texted him the unit numbers to be changed and hopefully, he can do so for me - afterall he is the brother-in-law of the developer himself.
