Folks, if you are believers in Christ, you need to tithe to the church. Otherwise, how does the church maintain itself and pay the pastors and deacons their salaries to continue preaching to you. They don't live on fresh air and sun shine. You need to tithe to the church so that there is food in God's house and to continue the urgent work of evangelization to the people who are not saved.
The Jews around the world are very rich and blessed because their forefathers tithed to Jesus. Abraham tithed to Malchizedek, a type of Jesus and Abraham was very rich. Listen folks, you tithes will affect your seed and down through the generations. They will be very blessed. Lot was in Abraham's loins when he tithed.
If you are still skeptical on tithing, read up on Malachi chapter 3 from verses 10 onwards in the Bible. In summary, if you tithe to church, money, prosperity and good success will be attracted to you.
When Jesus sent his disciples out without money, they did not ask him how they would be maintained for and taken care of. The church operates by the Spirit and should be given gifts instructed by the Spirit.
ReplyDeleteIn an analogy it's kind of like congress and the constitution. The congress receives it's Power from the constitution, so therefore, the constitution has the power to give instructions to fund the congress. So when the levites were given the Mosaic law to work at the temple. In turn the Mosaic law also gave instructions on how they are supported.
Now, the church is given its power by the Spirit of God. Without the Spirit there is no church. So naturally the Spirit of God should be the new and ultimate authority to support the church.
