Staying Safe in my Cocoon
I feel safe from the world, especially in-laws, out-laws, and what not. Just get preoccupied with blogging and work by the computer writing articles and doing student assignments to keep me mentally active. So far, I had written student assignments for a medical student on Cryotherapy, a hospitality and hotel student in creating a menu and explaining my choices and opening a restaurant, for a Computer Science student on a written article about the effects of technology on Children, Business articles, etc. WriterBay is a good platform but tries not to be penalised for plagiarism, delays, etc. The fines can be quite hefty!

Proton recorded stronger sales in October 2017, up 13% from September with the Saga and Persona being the most popular choices.
The national car maker said on Sunday the sales in October rose to 5,083 units from 4,498 units in September 2017.
During the January-October period, sales rose 6% to 61,380 units compared with 57,734 units in the previous corresponding period.
“The Saga and Persona continue to dominate the trend, both contributing 70% to the overall Proton car sales, with 26,343 units of Saga and 16,833 units of Persona sold,” it said.
“Known as the Value for Money Car, the Saga continues to remain as Proton’s most popular choice among Proton owners,” it said.
From as low as RM35,590.29 (excluding insurance and road tax) for a 1.3 litre standard to RM44,342.25 for a 1.3L Premium CVT, the new Saga offers great drivability, performs much more smoothly and has modern and practical convenient features like three USB ports for mobile charging and excellent audio play.
Proton said in terms of safety, the Saga has also been upgraded to four-star Asean NCAP with the Premium variant having advanced features like the ESC, ABS, EBD, traction control, brake assist, hill hold assist, airbags, ISOFIX and top-tether, with all-around sensors.
The Persona, which received an award for Best Compact Car after it was launched, saw a 57.5% increase year-to-date with 16,833 units sold compared to 10,687 units a year ago.
The new generation Persona has not only received an entirely new look but also has 510 litres of boot space, making the car a popular choice among a wider range of customers.
The Persona is suited for college students, soccer moms, young executives, small family or even active souls.
Its starting price is RM44,831.09 (excluding insurance and road tax). The five-star NCAP car is equipped with all-around sensors, ESC, ABS with EBD, brake assist, traction control system and hill-hold assist as standard features across all variants.

Many Articles to Write
There are many trip articles to write like Trip101, TripZilla, TripCanvas, TripHobo, etc. Trip101 is from Singapore while the rest could be from Malaysia, India and Indonesia. They pay quote all right, not too much and neither too little. You are paid just enough to motivate you to continue but you won't get rich this way. It is hard work with hours of research and curated articles. But it certainly keeps me on my toes all the time. Also, need to save up some cold hard cash for my coming overseas trip later in December, just before Christmas, where I shall return to Penang.

I love reading
My writing has improved by leaps and bounds. I read a lot of daily newspapers, financial magazines and the like. It has helped me in my writing work and blogging for some revenue. I am always hustling and hate to idle; because an idle mind is the devil's workshop. When you are free and idle, you start thinking of ways to get back at people and hurt them to feel better - some obnoxious people are born this way. Anyway, I shall dwell on the positive and hope to improve myself even further by doing a successful e-commerce so that I am not at the mercy of my boss cum friend with a very hot-temper and unpredictable. Then, I can have time and money freedom to do the things that I love like writing, blogging, selling and fulfilling orders.

Just Flew Back from KL
We set the alarm clock at 5:00am this morning to board the early flight at 6:20am by Firefly from Penang International Airport to Subang Airport in Subang Jaya, KL. We had a meeting at around 9:30. By politeness of kings, punctuality is key. There were 4-5 people inside the room and just the 2 of us. Personally, I don't feel too comfortable attending this particular interview where there are so many other competitors attendning at the same time. After returning to Subang Airport by Grab car for $39 one way, we had lunch at Secret Recipe where I ordered vegetarian lasagne and pure orange juice. We touched down Penang at 3:30pm, also by Firefly and went to collect company t-shirts for our workers, currently working in a factory where wearing uniforms is a must.

Happy Deepavali
I would like to take this opportunity to wish my readers a very Happy Deepavali. The kolam above was snapped below my condo unit of Phase 2 Penang Times Square on the ground floor of M Mall, started by the head honcho of Mr Teddy Teoh himself. Because of him, Ivory and Penang Times Square has revived and been rejunenated to a happening place. It used to attract Star Walk organisers before the controversial news came out. Well, everything is quiet now and back to normalcy.
The kolam, or hand-spread designs of coloured rice beads made into works of art, is very attractive and ushers in the Deepavali celebration for the Indians. The kolam above was taken at Empire Subang Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, near Subang Jaya. The design is indeed intricate and breathtaking. I love the contrast of colours and art.
This purple themed kolam of an elephant head was taken at Straits Quay ground floor, where Matta fair was held on the 6th floor of the convention hall. Don't you find this design amazing? Well, happy holidays and Happy Deepavali again!

My boss is coughing
My boss is coughing and a little sick now. Well, he is also my spouse and we stay together just for doing the business in a team. Otherwise, we have our respective families to turn to in case of help. We merely work as a team for a win-win basis to put food on the table for all our foreign workers and local ones, including our families, etc. Most of his cohorts at his age and classmates of Baby Boomers are already retired and down with sickness. But he is still healthy, able to drive 400km with stops in between and have been doing this for the last 13 years since we met. I pray for his speedy recovery, so that he can continue to helm the company
