Uncle passed away

My aunt's hubby, or 'ah tiau' has passed away on Monday night. He's in his late seventies and this shouldn't have happened had the doctors at the General Hospital been more reactive and attended to his illness immediately. On Sunday night, he complained of pain in his right chest and every 2 to 3 months, he has blood test done and everything was normal. But on that day, they discovered that he has anemia and low blood pressure. Well, due to the incompetency of the doctors at GH, he could not be saved on time and passed on. My aunt, naturally was very disheartened that a simple symptom like this could cause death due to delay. Had they been rich or have insurance covered, they would have gone to a private hospital where care is more personalized and professional. I remember the good times we spent together when I was young and my uncle was the one who arranged with his nephew pilot to have me seated in the cock pit en route to Singapore for my junior college scholarship studies. I could not attend the funeral tomorrow but I wish him divine mercy and grace.

Making Money is Fun

I am still gainfully employed with the same company for the last 9 years. Making money is certainly fun with this employer where I get a chance to work from home. Plus the fact that I am most productive when working all alone in a home office with no disturbance from office colleagues. This is the ideal job for me. It is also my longest employment that I will never seek greener pastures elsewhere. I love this job as it is easy to accomplish albeit with many work at times. The employer is also my good friend and we get along just fine. I can also take power naps in between work when I am tired. I could not ask for more and will try my utmost best to work for as long as possible so that the company is profitable at all times or 90% of the time. God has indeed blessed me with a dream job to work in a home office that is equipped with multi-functional printer, scanner, copier, fax machine and a digital camera.

Working from Home Means the World to Me

I have just updated the company web site with completed projects as references including the profile. Took me the whole of yesterday, working non-stop to get this done with. Indeed, working from home means the world to me. I am happy to say that I earn a comfortable salary just doing the things I love in a home office. I also get to take power naps in between work. Being trained in IT, I can work efficiently with the computer softwares and the internet. It is noteworthy to say that I have reached the millionaire status in net worth, simply by accumulating my savings month by month ever since I am a partner in this business in 2004. I have complete freedom to do as I like and work conscientiously every day. If needed, I can just fire up the computer to work at night as well. This partnership is a win-win basis for everyone involved including our blue-collar workers.

Indian Translation Agency

In any business, someone might need an interpreter in a business meeting, at a convention or even when visiting as a tourist. Translations are necessary as many embassies require translated documents to verify credentials, etc. There is always a demand for translation services worldwide, not only because of the presence of embassies, but companies from small to large multinationals requiring India's Leading Translation Agency. You can check out more information by clicking on the link given to read and browse around, should you need such a service in the near future.

Translation is big business that is ongoing worldwide and especially it can be conducted easily via the internet. By contracting the services of an Indian Translation Agency, you will save lots of money in the long run due to their very competitive rates that are extremely affordable because of the lower costs of living in India. Your US dollars will stretch far and wide when converted to Indian rupees. There are professionals on both sides of the divide to offer such services at affordable rates - without burning a hole in your pockets.

Even as I work from a home office, I may need the services of a translation company or freelancer to do a better job for me, now and then in my line of work.

Stayed at Mandarin Oriental Hotel

I just came back from a 1 night stay at Mandarin Oriental Hotel in KLCC. As we are members of the Elite Club, we get 50% discount off the room rate with free upgrade to a park view room. We also used the voucher for a free buffet lunch at Mosaic Restaurant in Mandarin Oriental. We also took the opportunity to watch Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra entitled 18th Century Evocations featuring music by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, etc. The dress code was smart casual and they have relaxed it a bit from long sleeve formal batik. No shorts, slippers, sports shoes are allowed. It was an enjoyable experience on the whole. It makes working hard more meaningful when we are able to spend a little now and then while taking a break from work.

Too Many Con Men

There are so many con men in the internet! They mask behind good looking Caucasian men and pretend to be successful professionals. But in reality, they could be Nigerian students working from computer labs in school. The moment they start asking for money, I drop them immediately like an epidemic. Real men who are successful and financially stable will never ask a woman for money. Period! I have read too many articles in the press and internet of naive women in love being conned of their lifelong savings, all wiped out due to blind love for someone who are not what they really are. Thank goodness for the spirit of discernment in me and suspiciousness to be easily taken in by con men.

Working from Home means the World to me

The present company that I work for since the last 9 years is not big nor prestigious, but it pays reasonably well and the fact that I work from a home office, means the world to me. We have been blessed with constant projects month after month since it was founded in 2004 when I started working here. It is a relief to note that we saved thousands of dollars from hiring many salesmen to go round places and look for projects.

Instead, what we have is a nifty, functional web site that brings in the dough with some enquiries online every month. People look for us instead of us looking for them. What is important is that our company web site is indexed by search engines where potential clients can find us easily online by typing a few key words. I thank God for the knowledge in implementing this, all gleaned from the internet and from joining forums to learn about web site designing.
